My current focus revolves around the natural work and how we relate to it. Using primarily acrylic paint, I achieve this through my "Imposter" series as well as my subject paintings of landscapes and animals.
Currently an exhibiting artist and co-owner at Art on the Square Gallery in Summerville, SC.
My Art Journey
Becky Tilton is a traditional artist whose work is centered around highlighting the beauty of animals and nature. Through her expressive acrylic paintings, she brings to life the personalities of creatures of all kinds, capturing their essence in vibrant detail.
As a mother of two, Becky is often inspired by whatever her "littles" find interesting. "My goal is to capture life as if it's being seen through my boys' eyes. It's so easy to overlook amazing things right in front of your face when you're used to seeing them. But for babies and toddlers, everything is new and bright."
Her work serves as a reminder of the delicate balance between humans and nature, and through her paintings, she hopes to inspire a deeper appreciation for the animals that share our world.
